Our Goal

OGAA aims to empower vulnerable children and marginalized women in Ethiopia. We focus on reuniting street children with their families, providing them with shelter, and supporting them through education. By empowering women economically, we create opportunities that lead to sustainable change. We also capacitate the youth to become an entrepreneur and active citizen, and we advocate against any form of Human Rights violation.

We envision a society where women and children are not limited by their circumstances but empowered to lead healthy, educated, and economically independent lives. Our focus is to foster resilient communities that stand for equality, democracy, and sustainable growth.

To transform the lives of thousands by addressing critical needs such as shelter, education, and economic support. We aim to create opportunities, foster skills, and drive impact that leads to thriving communities and brighter futures for everyone.

Our Story and Impact

Since its establishment in 2005, OGAA has committed itself to transforming the lives of vulnerable children, marginalized women, and the larger community in Ethiopia. From providing temporary shelters for street children to offering training in life skills and economic empowerment initiatives, OGAA's work has been both impactful and enduring.

We believe in giving children the opportunity to grow in a safe environment, empowering women to become economically independent, and supporting entire communities to thrive. Our vision is one of hope, resilience, and sustainable growth, focusing on empowering vulnerable groups to build a better tomorrow.

Through targeted programs in various regions across Ethiopia, OGAA has made significant strides. We have helped children reunite with their families, provided income-generating activities to women, established ICT centers to educate and empower the youth, and partnered with leading organizations to bring about meaningful change.
