The Organization for Girls, Adults, and Advocacy (OGAA) is dedicated to empowering marginalized women and children in Ethiopia through education, skill-building, family reunification, and community support. Since our establishment in 2005, we have worked tirelessly to provide vulnerable individuals with opportunities to thrive, transforming lives and building a brighter future for entire communities. We focus on holistic empowerment, from providing shelter and reunification programs for street children to equipping women with income-generating skills that create long-lasting impact.
Our mission is to empower vulnerable children and marginalized women in Ethiopia, foster resilient communities, and support sustainable growth by providing education, economic opportunities, and critical resources.
We envision a society where every child and woman has the opportunity to lead a healthy, educated, and economically independent life. Our focus is on fostering resilient communities that thrive through equality, democracy, and sustainability.
We value community empowerment, sustainability, and equality. We believe every person, regardless of their background, deserves a chance to succeed and live a dignified life.
